This is where I’ll be giving you the foundation of how each asana (pose) should be done correctly avoiding future injuries, giving you the guideline to be able to follow a led yoga classes more confidently.
Anyone is welcome to join; there are no prerequisites or levels of physical skill/ condition. The only expectation is that you arrive open-minded and prepared to give your best (so that you and everyone can get the best). The Bangkok Movement Collective
In this event. I’ll teach acrobatic yoga for beginner’s level and basic gymnastic movements. ��Acro Yoga: Foundation for basics and stretching. Including the importance of spotting, safety and alignment.
This workshop is a great overview of both the external and internal exercises used in old China for strengthening body, mind and spirit
Spend two intensive days practicing different movement elements with Soisci. In this workshop you will explore: Mobility- in motion, pre/rehab, and goal related. Hand balancing/ inverting- understanding basic alignment, tension and specific drills. Interactive partner games-stimulating creativity, corporal problem solving, strength work, flexibility, coordination, timing, and some bodyweight strength work.
At this months meeting we have the lovely Tanja Keller. She will guide you to understanding how to prepare the body for mobility and stability work with various kicking techniques. As well as how to control the body in space without losing balance while extending the legs away from the body during a kick.
